Project |03 Floating Silo

Robotic sculpture designed and built during internship. Originally conceptualized by my mentor, Yves Amu Klein, the Floating Silo is a large scale project to build a floating self navigating robot in the shape of a nuclear silo. The sculpture's outer shell is made of carbon fiber and should hold a smoke producing aparatus; top, a helium filled balloon; body, and house all circuitry and navigational components; bottom. The completed sculture will navigate itself across the art gallery avoiding objects and people with light and sound, elevate itself if needed, and puff rings of smoke to symbolize the dangers and necessity of nuclear power.

Project |05 Cube Project

In collaboration with Ryan Carmain.

The 3D LED Cube was a large scale project, which started out as a simple scholarship entry. The proposed cube was to be comprised of more than 13,000 multicolored LEDs with pending games and simple apps controlled via Microsoft Kinect.

The Cube was designed to be 24x24x24 RGB LED cube. Ryan and I worked on the project as part of Ryan's final thesis. What is innovative about this project is that its entire control scheme is based out of a single microprocessor operating at 80 MHz. In addition, the design of the cube allows interchangeable 24x24 LED panels for easy repairs if needed.

A small selection of images of my work at iTracs. As a 3D Graphical Designer, I designed 3D architectures based off of CAD files provided by our clients. Mostly used SketchUp, Photoshop, and AutoCAD.

Just a sample of my work. To see more or discuss possible work >>
